Departed reviewer too faint of heart

The Departed is Martin Scorsese’s most violent film? Really? Has your reviewer only seen The Age of Innocence and The Aviator? And why is it surprising that a movie about the mob is violent? Last I checked, mobsters weren’t pacifists. I know a movie review is only opinion, but in my opinion, The Beacon’s review of The Departed could not have been more inaccurate in all respects.,Dear Editor,
