The Emerson College Police Department provides the Incident Journal to the Beacon every week. Beacon staff edit the Incident Journal for style and clarity but not for content.

Monday, Dec. 3

The Emerson College Police Department investigated a theft of personal property taken from the Piano Row residence hall. ECPD identified the person who stole the property, and the person will return it to the victim.

Wednesday, Dec. 5

ECPD responded to a report of a suspicious person sleeping in the Cutler Majestic Theatre. Cutler Majestic Theatre staff woke the person, and they left the theater prior to ECPD’s arrival.

Thursday, Dec. 6

A passing motorist caused minor damage to an ECPD cruiser driver’s side mirror while the officer assisted a student.

Sunday, Dec. 9

ECPD investigated a person who wandered into the Piano Row residence hall and began to sleep on a couch. The person was cold and hungry. The officers transported them to the Boston Rescue Mission so they could receive the services they needed.
