Emily Cardona
Emily Cardona is a junior journalism major with a minor in environmental studies. Her hometown is Mooresville, North Carolina, a southern town forty-five minutes away from the Charlotte Metro area. She is a first-generation American that comes from two hardworking Colombian immigrants. She is the Beacon's deputy feature sports editor. She is also a writer and radio show host for Flawless Brown, an organization for women and non-binary people of color.
