Three new trustees appointed to board

Emerson appointed three new members to the Board of Trustees on Tuesday, according to a press release on the college’s website by Andrew Tiedemann, vice president of communications and marketing.

The three additions are Andrea M. Montoni ‘78, a communications executive; Michele D. Perkins, who got her masters from Emerson in 1984 and is the president of New England College in New Hampshire; and Marc Reinganum, a parent from the class of 2015 and investment manager.

Montoni, Perkins, and Reinganum will begin their duties as board members immediately, according to Tiedemann. The trustees work with President M. Lee Pelton, senior administrators, and faculty to improve the college.

“I am pleased to welcome these new Trustees to the Emerson Board,” Jeff Greenhawt, chairman of the board, said in the press release. “Their varied and deep professional backgrounds expand and extend the impressive management expertise that we have on our Board. We are enormously grateful for their willingness to serve Emerson.”
