Following up on the leadership of Dr. Payne in establishing these dialogues, and my conversations with him and others about bridging the gap between both cultures, I believe this kind of cooperation is a great example of how we can strengthen the academic and cultural relationships of the U.,Dear Editor,

Following up on the leadership of Dr. Payne in establishing these dialogues, and my conversations with him and others about bridging the gap between both cultures, I believe this kind of cooperation is a great example of how we can strengthen the academic and cultural relationships of the U.S and Saudi Arabia.

I really encourage more of this kind of media coverage in both countries regarding the grass roots efforts and the strong academic ties we have as colleagues.

I just have one comment on my bio in that article. I am a consultant in the Ministry of Information and Media, not the Shoura Council although we have eight women consultants in the Shoura.
