At Kinsale Irish Pub and Restaurant, you get what you pay for: fancy food at somewhat fancy prices

The Kinsale Irish Pub and Restaurant, located across from the Government Center T-stop at 2 Center Plaza, is an excellent choice for relatively cheap group dining.,Exploring Boston’s Italian North End and Chinatown can fill up any lazy Sunday afternoon, but when the need for a tall glass of Guinness or an enormous burger is so overwhelming you can barely stand it, check out the Irish pub scene.

The Kinsale Irish Pub and Restaurant, located across from the Government Center T-stop at 2 Center Plaza, is an excellent choice for relatively cheap group dining.

It offers a dining room, a bar and take out. During warmer months, you can dine on the sidewalk, but the restaurant staff has already removed this option to prepare for chilly fall days.

Even if you’re not of age, the bar, with its few tables and standing counter, is open for those eating a full meal as well.

Music blasts over the throng of pint-drinking singles and groups of diners, so unless you attend a lot of rock concerts or your date is a bore, the music can be overbearing.

Even the waitstaff, which is quick to offer meal and music suggestions, consistently mill about.
