I am writing to inquire why it was thought acceptable and professional to write a profile on only one of the SGA candidates last week when it was also known that the article would be published on one of the election days.
The writer made it clear that there were two other candidates, Ryan Brown and Heather Vitale, yet The Beacon chose not to feature either candidate in last week’s issue. Both Brown and Vitale are admirable students dedicated to changing Emerson in a positive way.
Perhaps your blatant favoritism overwhelmed your dedication to keeping us students informed about the full story? Thank you for keeping us only partially informed. You may want to sit down and rethink your mission here at Emerson College, and what disservices you are doing to the students.
