Campus Crime Log 1/29

Thursday, Jan. 15

A Piano Row staff member accidentally activated a fire alarm pull station. There was no fire and the Boston Fire Department reset the pull station.

 

Friday, Jan. 16

A staff member’s iPod Mini was stolen.

A student’s headphones were stolen from an unlocked locker inside the men’s locker room at the Fitness Center.

 

Monday, Jan. 19

A student’s iPhone was stolen from her jacket while inside Emerson’s Cafe.

 

Tuesday Jan. 20

A lit candle fell onto a bed causing minor damage to a mattress. ECPD went to the student’s suite to make sure the mattress was not smoldering. Facilities Management was notified for clean-up.   

 

Wednesday, Jan. 21

ECPD responded to a report of graffiti inside an elevator. Facilities Management was notified to to remove it.

A student had money stolen from their dorm room.

 

Saturday, Jan. 24

ECPD investigated a report from the Office of Housing and Residence Life staff that students had been smoking marijuana inside a suite.

ECPD removed an intoxicated person from Colonial’s lobby. The person was not from Emerson and was looking for a taxi to get home. ECPD helped them find a taxi.

A student was assaulted by an unknown male while “rough housing” with another student student in front of Colonial. The student was not injured in the attack.

 

Sunday Jan. 25

ECPD received a call from the DJ at WERS about a person loitering in front of the radio station. ECPD asked him to leave the area.
