Campus radio station WERS hosted the 10th annual All A Cappella Live show at the Cutler Majestic Theater on Saturday, March 28. The show opened with a rendition of the Emerson alma mater, done by Emerson’s four a cappella groups: Treble Makers, Noteworthy, Acapellics Anonymous, and Achoired Taste. Each Emerson group then performed a brief set with popular songs adapted for a cappella, like Rihanna’s “Umbrella” and Zedd’s “Stay the Night.” Competing were The Boston University Allegrettos, University of Massachusetts Amherst Dynamics, Northeastern University’s Treble on Huntington, the UMass Vocal Suspects, and the winners, BU’s Dear Abbeys.
