Speaking to a room of emotional supporters in Midtown Manhattan on Tuesday night, former Gov. Andrew Cuomo conceded to Zohran Mamdani in the NYC mayoral election. Cuomo stressed to his supporters the importance of cooperating with the new administration.
Acknowledging and congratulating Mamdani on his win, Cuomo supporters reacted with boo’s and “lock him up” chants. Cuomo shuts it down, saying, “That is not right. That is not us.”
