Suffolk to sell Beacon Hill property

Suffolk University, Emerson’s neighbor, is selling two of its buildings on Beacon Hill.

The Archer and Donahue buildings mainly house classrooms, according to an article in the Boston Herald. The article said that the buildings were put on the market this week and together are assessed at $45 million.

Suffolk is preparing to open a new science building this September, John Nucci, Suffolk’s vice president of government relations and community affairs, told the Herald.

The college is moving the core of Suffolk’s campus out of the residential areas of Beacon Hill, according to the Herald.
