Beacon typos let reader down

By Billy Palumbo

It’s hard to pick up The Beacon these days and not be embarrassed by the amount of blatant spelling, grammatical and typographical errors.

I don’t for a second doubt the intelligence of Beacon writers and editors, which means that the only explanation for these errors occurring so consistently is laziness.

To quote a typo in a pull quote in the March 5 opinion section: “Rediciulous.”

Editor’s note: For the record, we did misspell ridiculous in the March 5 issue, but we spelled it “rediculous [sic],” not “rediciulous [sic].” We regret the error.
