Campus Crime Log, April 2

Tuesday Mar. 24
The Boston Fire Department and the Emerson College Police Department responded to Piano Row for a fire alarm. The fire alarm was caused by a student who had burnt food in a microwave oven. There was no fire and no injuries to report. 

Wednesday Mar. 25
A student had personal property stolen from their dorm inside the Little Building.

Two individuals were stuck inside an elevator in Piano Row. Facilities management and an elevator contractor were notified to free the individuals trapped inside.

A student reported the theft of college property taken from her backpack in the Walker Building. 

Saturday Mar. 28
A student reported receiving suspicious text messages.

Sunday Mar. 29
A person with no affiliation to the college came into ECPD to report he had been assaulted by an acquaintance while dining on Stuart Street. The victim did not want Boston Police notified and refused any medical attention before leaving ECPD.
