Tuesday, Jan. 24

A student reported theft after leaving their property in a lounge in the Paramount Center residence hall.

 

Wednesday, Jan. 25

A faculty member stuck in an elevator in the Ansin Building had to be freed by the Emerson College Police Department and Facilities management. The elevator was taken out of service until it could be inspected.

 

Thursday, Jan. 26

A Securitas officer working at the Fitness Center reported an alarm to ECPD, which turned out to be a false fire alarm coming from the Uno Due Go resturant next door.

A student told ECPD that she was a victim of aggressive panhandling while at an MBTA subway station. Transit Police were notified.

A student reported having personal property stolen from inside the Little Building.

The Office of Housing and Residence Life turned over what appeared to be marijuana and drug paraphernalia confiscated from a student suite to ECPD.

 

Saturday, Jan. 28

ECPD officers on patrol interrogated a suspicious person hiding behind a dumpster inside the loading dock area of the Paramount Center. The person was asked to leave the area.

 

Sunday, Jan. 29

A Facilities Management employee reported seeing a man climb a fire escape. ECPD officers found the individual and escorted him off college property. The man was given a written trespass notice from ECPD stating that if he came back on the college property, he would be subject to arrest.
