Monday, Oct. 17

A contractor reported the theft of his equipment from Piano Row.

 

Thursday, Oct. 20

The Boston Fire Department and the Emerson College Police Department investigated a fire alarm in the Walker Building. The alarm was caused by contractors spilling paint on an electrical heat sensor. There was no fire and the sensor was replaced.

 

ECPD investigated a report of a suspicious person who may have tampered with the front door locks of the Paramount Theater.

 

Friday, Oct. 21

The Office of Housing and Residence Life gave a kitchen knife to ECPD that was confiscated from a student in the Piano Row residence hall. The knife was against housing policy.

 

Sunday, Oct. 23

OHRL confiscated another kitchen knife in the Piano Row residence hall. The knife was given to ECPD.

 

ECPD assisted Sodexo employees to help remove a person who was loitering inside Einstein Bros. Bagels. The person left without incident.

 

An ECPD officer on patrol noticed a suspicious piece of luggage that was left outside of the Dunkin’ Donuts in the Little Building. The Boston Police Department was notified and the luggage was inspected. It did not contain anything dangerous and was properly disposed of.
