Tuesday, Nov. 15

Emerson College Police Department investigated a disturbance on Mason Street while a student returned equipment to the Equipment Distribution Center.

 

An unknown male allegedly assaulted a student near Tremont and Boylston streets.

 

Wednesday, Nov. 16

Boston Fire Department and ECPD responded to an accidental fire alarm in the Tufte Performance and Production Center.

 

A student reported that a person who robbed them at an MBTA station was near the college. ECPD identified the individual and asked them to leave the area.

 

Friday, Nov. 18

A student accidentally damaged a vending machine in the Colonial Building while trying to get food that was stuck.

 

A man asking for money allegedly harassed and grabbed a student walking on Boylston Street near Dunkin’ Donuts, the student reported a couple days after the incident.

 

Sunday, Nov. 20

ECPD and Facilities Management extinguished a smoldering trash barrel outside the Little Building. Police believe an unextinguished cigarette ignited the fire.

 

Monday, Nov. 21

ECPD investigated an alleged trespasser inside the Little Building. The trespasser was gone before officers arrived but criminal charges are being sought against the individual.

 

ECPD responded to Einstein Bros. Bagels after receiving a report that a patron was causing a disturbance inside.

 

Tuesday, Nov. 22

Office of Housing and Residence Life staff turned over a confiscated marijuana cigarette from a Little Building resident.

 

Wednesday, Nov. 23

During room inspections for the Thanksgiving holiday, OHRL staff found and turned over to ECPD many confiscated kitchen knives and drug paraphernalia found in students’ rooms.

 

Friday, Nov. 25

ECPD and BFD responded to a fire alarm caused by cooking food in Piano Row. There was no fire.
