Emerson has many students and organizations that host events. This is exhibited through EmConnect’s event page and flyers on bulletin boards. The Beacon Living Arts section went through the events for the next week and picked out a few that seemed interesting.

Aroma Therapy

Students can treat themselves to relaxing self-care time before Thanksgiving break with resident assistant Preston on Sunday. Participants will learn about essential oils and aromatherapy and can win one of two oil diffusers and essential oils. The event will take place in the seventh floor common room of Piano Row residence hall from 12:00 to 3:00 p.m.

RA Selection Info Session

The last information session for resident assistant selection for the 2019-20 academic year will be held Monday. Students can learn more about what the position entails. The session will take place in the Multipurpose Room from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m.

Writing for Television

Emerson Independent Video is hosting a writing for television workshop next Tuesday from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. Students can sharpen their writing skills. It will take place in room 519 of the Walker building.

Lions vs Leopards

The women’s basketball team will face Wentworth Institute of Technology’s team at home Tuesday. Come support the team at 8:00 p.m. in the Bobbi Brown & Steven Plofker Gym.
