Summer 2004 meant a move to Kenmore Square, the discovery of her mother’s breast cancer and the creation of a fundraiser that would provide Pineau with strength during troubling times.

“My mother was diagnosed Aug. 30, 2004, two days before I was moving into my new apartment in Kenmore Square,” said Pineau.
