Full-time Title IX Investigator hired

Pamela White, associate vice president for Title IX and Clery Act coordinator, announced the hiring of full-time Title IX Investigator Pamela Ring last week in an email to the Emerson community.

Previously, Ring served as an independent consultant, legal counsellor, special advisor to the dean, and director of community standards at various universities and nonprofits, including Brown University and her alma mater, Harvard University, according to the email.

Ring will act as an impartial third party in investigating student reports of interpersonal violence, helping to determine the steps that should be taken, and will report to White, according to the email.
