Hendricks leaves team

“I miss the hardwood, you know? And the team especially,” Hendricks said. “I couldn’t ask for a better group of guys to play ball with.,An Emerson basketball fan favorite, sophomore guard Morales Hendricks, has decided to take the semester off from Emerson to pursue acting and has said farewell to the team.

“I miss the hardwood, you know? And the team especially,” Hendricks said. “I couldn’t ask for a better group of guys to play ball with. I also never had a coach like Coach Hank. He taught me not to just work hard on the court but in real life as well. Since I’ve been out of school, working hard is like second nature to me.”

Hendricks said he misses the team and wishes them luck in the rest of the season. He will be going to Florida to take classes at a community college, followed by attendance at New York Film Academy and hopefully Palm Beach Film School. Right now, he is trying his hand at acting and thinking of putting his film education on hold.

Hendricks had been averaging just under 10 points a game, mostly off the bench.
