ECPD responded to a motor vehicle crash in Allen’s Alley, reporting no injuries and no vehicles towed.
Wednesday, Oct. 11
ECPD responded to an injured student report in the Ansin Building. ECPD provided aid, and the student did not seek additional medical attention.

ECPD responded to a call about a possible trespasser on the fourth floor of the Union Bank Building. Upon arrival, it was determined that the non-Emerson community member was an authorized photographer, escorted by an Emerson facilities team member, taking stills of the Parker residence building on Lagrange Street. There was no trespass or unauthorized access into the Union Bank Building.

ECPD responded to a concern from Bon Appétit dining staff about a student who was violating the college dining policy. The student was identified and referred to the community standards and student conduct department for whatever actions they deem appropriate.

A student reported an attempted larceny by fraud, stating that they were contacted by someone who claimed to be a member of the U.S. Customs and Border Patrol and claimed there was an arrest warrant for the student. When the caller began to discuss the need to transfer funds in order to avoid arrest, the student terminated the call and reported it to ECPD.

A student reported a theft of personal property that occurred off campus.

ECPD was notified of a small fire in the basement restroom of the Paramount Theater. Upon arrival, the smoldering items in the restroom trash barrel were extinguished, and no smoke alarms were activated. There were no injuries or evacuations from the theater.
Sunday, Oct. 15
ECPD responded to the Piano Row gym for a reported injured person. ECPD provided aid, and the individual did not seek additional medical attention.
