Incident Journal: ECPD renders aid to intoxicated non-Emerson community member

The Emerson College Police Department provides the Incident Journal to The Beacon every week. Beacon staff edit the Incident Journal for style and clarity but not for content.

Monday, Nov. 28

ECPD responded to the Little Building at 7:55 p.m. for a reported bypass by a non-Emerson community member. The individual was located and escorted off campus. There were no reports of missing/stolen property or adverse encounters with the individual before they departed without incident.

Tuesday, Nov. 29

ECPD responded to Piano Row at 12:33 p.m. for a report of stolen property. The incident remains under investigation.

Wednesday, Dec. 1

ECPD responded to UBANK at 2:10 p.m. for an individual in need of assistance. The self-identified “homeless” non-Emerson community member was intoxicated. The individual refused aid and departed the area without further incident. There were no reports of missing/stolen property or adverse encounters with the individual before they departed without incident.

Saturday, Dec. 3

ECPD responded to a report of a non-Emerson community member in the lobby of Piano Row at 5:43 p.m. When police arrived, they found an intoxicated, non-community member in need of medical attention. ECPD rendered aid and requested an ambulance that transported the individual to a local area hospital for treatment. The individual did not pass the building security post and there were no reports of any other incident.
