The Emerson College Police Department provides the Incident Journal to The Beacon every week. Beacon staff edit the Incident Journal for style and clarity but not for content.

Monday, March 27

ECPD responded to a student in need of medical assistance in the Little Building, per a request from Housing and Residential staff. ECPD provided aid to the student, who did not seek additional medical assistance.

Tuesday, March 28

ECPD discovered two Emerson College students in the unauthorized access basement level of the Little Building. The students departed the area without incident.

Wednesday, March 29

ECPD responded to a community member in need of medical assistance in the Little Building. ECPD provided assistance, and the individual sought additional medical attention. 

Wednesday, March 29

ECPD responded to an incident of defacing property at 172 Tremont Street. This incident remains under investigation.

Friday, March 31

ECPD responded to an Emerson alumni in need of medical assistance at 98 Boylston Street. ECPD provided aid with the individual, who sought additional medical attention. 

Sunday, April 2

Housing and Residential staff requested ECPD at Paramount Residence Hall for an odor consistent with burnt substances. After checking the area, ECPD determined there was no fire nor any facilities issues. The odor cleared, and no alarms associated with the incident were set off.
