Rhode Island-based Designer Henry Hawk wins the 2025 Jeans d’Or prize

Awarded to designers or denimheads, the annual prize celebrates style, sustainability, heritage, and quality, I present this award to the makers and enthusiasts who have inspired me to love jeans—this one’s for Henry.

A parody of the “Palme d’Or” prize awarded by the Festival de Cannes to the best director of a feature film that year, critics have called the Jeans d’Or’s title “nominally amorphous” by comparison, at least, for the moment.
