Dear Reader,

“Dazed and Confused” is inspired by the counterculture of the 1960s and 70s, the revolutionary act of protest, and stoner movies. As I reach my final days at Emerson, I want to thank everyone who has inspired me to join organizations designed for the sole purpose of creating.

I hope you see the sharpness and creativity in these stories and editorials like I do. This issue has a wonderful cast of contributors, who captured the essence of what it feels like to be in your early 20s during this absurd puppet show that we call 2025. It is so hard not to be stoned and angry all the time, yet we carry on still. We are tough. I urge everyone to make as much as possible, get everything on paper and camera, so that we have proof of resiliency and change like the kids back in 1968.
