Photos: Pro-Palestine protesters shut down Storrow Drive in Boston
The rally which turned into a march was a celebration of “one year of resistance” against Israel and to continue calls for the U.S. to cease all aid and funding to Israel.

Arthur Mansavage, Photography Editor & Audience Development Editor
Arthur Mansavage (he/him) is a junior Journalism major from Carmel, Indiana. Currently he serves as the Photography Editor and Audience Development Editor. As the Photo Editor he oversees all photo content for online and in-print and as the Audience Development Editor he oversees and manages reader experience and engagement. In February of 2024, he fully redesigned the Beacon's website layout to model the current industry standards. Mansavage is also a member of the National Press Photographers Association (NPPA) and in November of 2023 received an NPPA Monthly News Clip award for his coverage of the protests during Vice President Kamala Harris’ visit to Boston. His protest coverage was also given an honorable mention by the 2024 International Photography Awards. In April of 2024 the Emerson College department of Journalism awarded him the Photojournalism Excellence Award. Bryan Hecht (he/him) is a sophomore journalism major from Havertown, Pennsylvania. He currently serves as the Co-editor of the News Section at The Berkeley Beacon. As a member of the Emerson Cross Country team, Bryan can likely be found on a run around the Boston area when he's not writing stories.
