Thousands of anti-Donald Trump protesters gathered in Center City Philadelphia at JFK Plaza, also known as Love Park, on Saturday for a “No Kings Day” demonstration. The demonstration was just one of roughly 2,000 associated nationwide demonstrations to protest the Trump administration’s deportation initiatives and take a stand against authoritarianism.

Despite light rains throughout the day, protesters in Philadelphia met at Love Park before marching across a closed-down Benjamin Franklin Parkway to arrive at the iconic steps of the Philadelphia Museum of Art. There, various politicians, community leaders, political organizers, and veterans gave speeches alongside live music in an event which expressed outrage towards Trump and solidarity in the strength and rights of working people.
