Public Safety Log – April 24, 2014

Tuesday, April 15

At 7:34 a.m., Emerson College Police Department removed an intoxicated person who had trespassed in the Little Building.

At 9:15 a.m., a staff member reported being kicked by a person, who the staff member said appeared to be homeless, after accidentally bumping into him in the area of 40 Boylston St. The staff person was not injured. Boston Police were also notified.

 

Thursday, April 17

At 9:05 a.m., students reported being harassed on social media. ECPD investigated the matter, and it has been given to Judicial Conduct for review.

At 8:23 p.m., ECPD and the Boston Fire Department responded to the main dining area of Piano Row for a fire alarm. The cause of the alarm was determined to be smoke from burnt food. There was no fire, and no injuries were reported.

 

Saturday, April 19

At 2:47 p.m., a Sodexo employee reported the theft of money from their locker in the Little Building.

 

Sunday, April 20

At 2:23 p.m., students reported being harassed in the Little Building. ECPD is investigating.
