SGA elects two new commissioners

The Student Government Association elected two students to commissioner positions on Tuesday.

Stephanie Gordon, a junior visual and media arts major, was elected as the new Fraternity and Sorority Life Commissioner. Gordon is in Zeta Phi Et, and will be assisting with the department’s rebranding process.

“I have been a part of a fraternity for year and it’s been a very positive experience,” Gordon said. “I hope that all members of Greek Life have the same positive experience as I am.”

Anna Drummond, a junior visual and media arts major, will be taking on the position of Multicultural Commissioner. She is involved in Emerson’s Black Organization with Natural Interests, or EBONI; and Emerson’s Alliance for Gays, Lesbians, and Everyone, or EAGLE.

“I feel as though I can be a very good liaison between the Multicultural Student Organizations and SGA itself,“ Drummond said.
