I send thanks to Emily Gonzalez for her terrific article, “We’re going to eat meat, whether you like it or not.” Reading it was like eating a fine steak-it wasn’t too tough, but very juicy and left me satisfied at the end.

Vegetarians certainly deserve respect for their beliefs, but so do meat eaters (or “omnivores” as Gonzalez so tastefully called us).

Kudos to Gonzalez for addressing that. Next time anyone grills me for eating a hamburger, I’ll be sure to use some of her well articulated points of debate.
