Emerson launched a new “daily status checker” Friday morning, which will enable community members to access information about their compliance with the college’s COVID-19 testing program.

The daily status checker also allows students, faculty, and staff to check access status, assigned testing cohort schedule, latest test results, upcoming testing dates, and other information about compliance with college mandated COVID-19 protocols.

The launch comes a day after the college reported four new positive COVID-19 tests, bringing the semester total to 89. Assistant Vice President for Campus Life and “COVID Lead” Erik Muurisepp reiterated the college was expecting to see more positives this semester.

Muurisepp also noted there are ten “active” cases at Emerson, though the COVID-19 dashboard shows no students in isolation.

We regularly review all COVID data and are prepared to adjust operations accordingly should the need arise,” Muurisepp wrote.

The daily status checker can be found on the Emerson app under the OneEmerson tab.
