Monday, April 4

ECPD verified the identity of the employment background investigator and confirmed a former Emerson College student’s wishes to release college records to that investigator.

Monday, April 4

ECPD responded to a report in the Walker Building of an elevator entrapment. ECPD confirmed five individuals were inside Elevator #5. Delta Beckworth staff responded. When the individuals exited the elevator, they reported they were in good health and denied any additional services.

ECPD responded to a report in the Walker Building of an elevator entrapment. ECPD confirmed three individuals were inside the elevator. Facilities staff and Delta Beckwood staff responded. When the three individuals exited the elevator, they reported they were in good health and denied any additional services.

Wednesday, April 6

ECPD responded to the Little Building for a student that was reportedly injured during an incident that occurred off campus. When ECPD arrived, they aided the student who then sought additional medical attention.

Friday, April 8

ECPD responded to the public sidewalk outside of the Little Building for a report of an Emerson College student in need of aid. ECPD assisted the student who sought additional medical attention.

Monday, April 11

ECPD assisted an Emerson College student with filing a report with Boston Police Department concerning an incident that occurred off-campus and will be investigated by ECPD.

Tuesday, April 12

ECPD responded to the 2 Boylston Place Residence Hall for an attempted bypass. The student Desk Sitter engaged an individual who was attempting to enter with a group of visitors. The person departed without gaining entry.

Friday, April 15

HRE staff requested ECPD to respond to the Little Building to assist a student with a student requiring medical assistance. ECPD responded, rendered aid and the student sought additional medical attention. HRE referred the student to Community Standards Student Conduct for whatever actions they deemed appropriate.

Friday, April 15

ECPD responded to the lobby of 2 Boylston Place Residence Hall for a reported larceny that occurred from the lobby. The reporting student provided information that led to the identification of two student suspects who were referred to Community Standards Student Conduct for whatever actions they deemed appropriate.

Sunday, April 17

An Emerson College student contacted ECPD to report their laundry was taken from the Piano Row laundry room. There were no investigative leads as to who may have taken the laundry.

Sunday, April 17

ECPD responded to Piano Row to assist a student in need of medical attention. ECPD provided aid and the student did not seek additional medical attention.
