Four new vending machines were placed in the Little Building, Piano Row, and 2 Boylston Place residence halls, according to Facilities and Campus Services in an email to students on April 9.
“The addition of these machines is a result of direct feedback we have received from the community,” the email said. “We hope that these new additions help provide a convenient option for residential students to grab snacks and beverages on the go to fit their busy schedules.”
Piano Row and 2 Boylston Place now each have one combo machine, including both snacks and beverages. Little Building now has one beverage machine and one snack machine.
The Piano Row vending machine was installed outside the Fitness Center, and the 2 Boylston Place vending machine is in the elevator lobby. The two vending machines in Little Building are on the second floor.
There are several vending machines on campus already. Ansin and Paramount buildings both have one combo machine, while Walker Building has two beverage machines and two snack machines.
The newest machines were installed yesterday morning, The Beacon confirmed with the Associate Vice President of Facilities and Campus Services Joan Martinez Cuerva via email. Inventory will be checked remotely and the machines will be refilled on an as needed basis.
