Emerson women’s and men’s cross country teams finished in the top five at the Runnin’ Monks Invitational at St. Joseph’s College of Maine on Saturday.
Emerson women’s cross country earned a first-place title. Coming in at second place was Emmanuel College, and third place went to St. Joseph’s College of Maine.
For Emerson’s 6K individual results: junior Yasmine Defne Dadikhi came in second place at 26:11.99, junior Olivia Kardos came in third place at 26:27.56, and senior Sam Zannotti came in fourth place at 26:36.28.
The rest of the individual results are as follows:

- Atalanta Carrig-Braun – 29:29.74
- Nalea Curiel – 30:42.68
- Ava Keleher – 32:10.16
Meanwhile, the men’s cross country team finished fourth. Coming in at first place was the University of Southern Maine. Second place went to Maine Maritime Academy and third place went to St. Joseph’s of Maine.

Both teams head to the NEWMAC Championships on Nov. 2 in Wellesley, Mass.
