The Emerson College Police Department provides the Incident Journal to The Beacon every week. Beacon staff edit the Incident Journal for style and clarity but not for content.

Friday, Sept. 2

ECPD responded to a request from Housing and Residential Education staff to assist with a safety inspection at Paramount Residence Hall. HRE confiscated contraband and transferred custody to ECPD for destruction. HRE referred the involved students to Community Standards and Student Conduct for whatever action they deem appropriate.

Tuesday, Sept. 6

ECPD assisted with an Armstrong Ambulance medical transport from 216 Tremont Street.

Wednesday, Sept. 7

ECPD responded to a student needing assistance in the Little Building. ECPD rendered aid to the student, who sought additional medical attention.

Thursday, Sept. 8

ECPD responded to a reported elevator entrapment in elevator number two at 2 Boylston Place. Facilities staff and Delta Beckwith staff responded, and seven community members were able to exit the elevator without incident.

Thursday, Sept. 8

ECPD responded to the Little Building at the request of HRE staff, and located two Emerson students who had gained access to the roof without authority or safety equipment. Both students were referred to Community Standards and Student Conduct for whatever action they deem appropriate.

Friday, Sept. 9

ECPD responded to the Little Building for a student needing medical assistance. ECPD rendered aid to the student, who sought additional medical attention.

Saturday, Sept. 10

ECPD responded to the Boston Common for an Emerson College student in need of medical assistance. ECPD rendered aid to the student, who sought additional medical attention.

Saturday, Sept. 10

ECPD discovered graffiti on the exterior of the Piano Row residence hall. No suspects were identified.

Tuesday, Sept. 13

ECPD responded to the Paramount Center for a reported bypass of security. Upon conducting a check of the building, ECPD was unable to locate any unauthorized personnel.
