The Emerson College Police Department provides the Incident Journal to The Beacon every week. Beacon staff edit the Incident Journal for style and clarity but not for content.

Monday, Sept. 19

ECPD responded to a student in need of medical attention in the Little Building, rendering aid to the student, who did not seek additional medical attention.

Monday, Sept 19

ECPD was informed of a defacing property incident in the Little Building. The incident is under investigation.

Tuesday, Sept. 20

ECPD received a report of damage to a bicycle parked in the 25 Boylston Place Bike Room. An investigation confirmed the damage did not occur on campus. 

Wednesday, Sept. 21

ECPD responded to the Little Building for a fire alarm that evacuated floors six, seven, and eight. The Boston Fire Department responded, confirmed there was not a fire, and authorized re-entry into the building.

Wednesday, Sept. 21

ECPD and Boston Emergency Medical Services responded to a student in need of medical assistance in the Little Building. Aid was rendered at the scene and the student did not seek additional medical attention.

Friday, Sept. 23

ECPD responded to an injured student in the Little Building. ECPD spoke with the student, who did not seek additional medical attention.

Saturday, Sept. 24

ECPD responded to Piano Row Residence Hall for a fire alarm that evacuated floors three, four, and five. The Boston Fire Department responded, determined there was no fire, and authorized re-entry into the building.

Sunday, Sept. 25

ECPD responded to Piano Row Residence Hall for a student in need of medical aid. ECPD provided assistance to the student, who sought additional medical attention. 

Sunday, Sept. 25

ECPD responded to a report of debris falling onto Boylston Street from Colonial Residence Hall. No pedestrian traffic was involved in the incident. ECPD determined who had dropped the debris and shared the information with Housing and Residential Education staff so they can take whatever action they deem appropriate.

Sunday, Sept. 25

ECPD responded to the Little Building for a student in need of medical attention. ECPD assisted the student, who reportedly fell while off campus, and the student sought additional medical attention.
