The Presidential Search Committee, spearheaded by the Chair of the Board of Trustees Eric Alexander, has narrowed the search to four presidential finalists, per a communication from the committee Tuesday afternoon.

The initial pool of candidates—selected during first-round interviews in October—consisted of academic and administrative leaders, including sitting presidents, provosts, deans, and a chief of staff.

The committee will continue its work with in-depth discussions, reference checking, and candidate recommendations while engaging with diverse members of the Emerson community.

“We are confident that the diligent work of the committee on behalf of the entire Emerson community will yield an outstanding next president for our college,” Alexander wrote.
