The Emerson College Police Department provides the Incident Journal to The Beacon every week. Beacon staff edit the Incident Journal for style and clarity but not for content.

Monday Feb. 7

ECPD was made aware of an email to admission at Emerson College. The email, which appeared to be sent to harass the college, is under investigation.

Monday Feb. 7

ECPD responded to a disturbance reported in the 2 Boylston Place Alley by an Emerson student. ECPD assisted the student and resolved the incident.

Tuesday Feb. 8

ECPD responded to a Bon Appetit staff member in need of medical assistance in the Lion’s Den. ECPD provided medical attention and the individual sought additional medical attention.

Wednesday Feb. 9

ECPD responded to an Emerson student in need of medical attention in the Little Building. ECPD assisted the individual, who also sought additional medical attention. 

Friday Feb. 11

ECPD responded to an Emerson student in need of medical attention in Piano Row. ECPD assisted the student and the student sought additional medical attention.

Friday Feb. 11

ECPD found a student violating college policy in the Little Building. The student was referred to Community Standards & Student Conduct.

Friday Feb. 11

An Emerson College Student visited ECPD to report a theft in the Little Building. This incident is under investigation. 

Saturday, Feb. 12

Housing and Residential Education Staff asked ECPD to respond to a suspicious person by Paramount Residence Hall. ECPD discovered an Emerson College student and provided medical assistance.

Saturday, Feb. 12 

ECPD responded to a fire alarm in the Walker Building and evacuated the basement, first and second floors. Boston Fire Department confirmed there was no fire and gave the all clear.

Saturday, Feb. 12 

ECPD responded to an Emerson student in the Colonial Building in need of medical assistance. ECPD assisted and the student did seek additional medical attention.
