Monday, Jan. 27
A student reported having their backpack stolen while inside Boston Common.
Tuesday, Jan. 28
A student reported being assaulted while walking with friends inside Boston Common. Boston Police were able to apprehend the assailant.
Wednesday, Jan. 29
ECPD confiscated cannabis and drug paraphernalia found in the Little Building by student life.
Thursday, Jan. 30
ECPD and Facilities Management responded to a student who was trapped inside a 2 Boylston Place elevator. The student was freed without incident.
Friday, Jan. 31
ECPD investigated a report of a person attempting to bypass security in 2 Boylston Place. The individual was found and asked to leave the building.
Saturday, Feb. 1
A student reported stolen bedding from the Piano Row laundry room.
ECPD investigated a report of a suspicious drawing in the Little Building. The drawing was not determined to be offensive.
Monday, Feb. 3
A student reported the theft of an EDC camera from the Walker Building.
Wednesday, Feb. 5
The security officer at the Little Building reported the emergency door alarm at stairwell one was activated. ECPD investigated the alarm and secured the area.
ECPD investigated an audible alarm coming from the Colonial Building. Nothing out of the ordinary was found, and the alarm was reset.
ECPD, Boston Fire Department and Facilities Management responded to the Tufte Building for a fire alarm. The cause of the fire alarm was determined to be an activated pull station inside Allen Alley. There was no fire.
Thursday, Feb. 6
A student reported the theft of personal property that had been accidentally left inside a Paramount Center classroom.
A student reported the theft of clothing from inside the Iwasaki Library.
Saturday, Feb. 8
ECPD received a report of vandalism to a bulletin board inside Piano Row.
Sunday, Feb. 9
ECPD are investigating vandalism inside the Paramount Theater.
Housing staff reported graffiti on a Resident Assistant poster board in Piano Row. The graffiti was removed.
