The Boston area received over 20 inches of snow over the weekend into Monday. Winter Storm Fern began Sunday afternoon and continued until early Tuesday morning. Emerson had two days of affected classes, with Monday classes being cancelled and Tuesday classes being moved online. Other Boston schools, such as Suffolk and Boston University, were also affected by similar closures.
The Beacon issued a general call for Bostonians and Emersonians to submit photos taken during the storm and the long weekend. See photos captured by readers and Beacon staff covering the snowstorm.
