Earlier today, two positions were eliminated in Emerson College’s Office of Marketing and Communications, a source verified by The Beacon confirmed.
Emerson College did not comment on the “personnel decisions.” They also confirmed that no further reductions are planned.
The Office of Marketing and Communications oversees both internal communications within the Emerson community, such as presidential communications as well as media relations with external press, social media, and branding. The office, helmed by Vice President Kelly Devers-Franklin, consists of the Office of the Vice President & Institutional Communications, and Brand and Design & Editorial, which oversees EmersonToday.
