Tuesday, Feb. 20

A student reported money missing from their dorm room desk. Emerson College Police Department is currently investigating the incident.

Wednesday, Feb. 21

ECPD received a student backpack containing a fake driver’s license and a folding knife. ECPD referred the incident to the Office of Student Conduct and Community Standards.

ECPD responded to a report of a bicycle locked to a fourth-floor railing inside the Paramount Center. ECPD referred the matter to the Office of Student Conduct and Community Standards.

Thursday, Feb. 22

A non-Emerson community member reported a stolen bike after it was last seen at a bicycle rack across the street from Colonial Theatre. ECPD advised the person to contact the Boston Police Department.

The Office of Housing and Residence Life turned over confiscated drug paraphernalia to ECPD, who referred the matter to the Office of Student Conduct and Community Standards.

Friday, Feb. 23

ECPD responded to an alarm in the basement of Piano Row. The officer found two unlocked doors, one propped open with a chair. The doors were locked and the alarm was reset.

ECPD responded to a report of a non-Emerson college student pointing an unauthorized prop weapon at a college staff member in one of the Paramount Center’s sound stages. ECPD confiscated the prop and issued the student a no-trespass order.  

An ECPD Officer observed eight students attempting to bypass Piano Row security using an emergency-exit-only set of doors. The officer referred the incident to the Office of Student Conduct and Community Standards.
