Incident Journal: Medical aid provided to two students, window in Union Bank Building found damaged

The Emerson College Police Department provides the Incident Journal to The Beacon every week. Beacon staff edit the Incident Journal for style and clarity but not for content.

Monday, January 17

Following a report of violation of college policy, ECPD arrived at the Paramount Residence Hall to clear the incident. The incident was cleared without issue and all students involved her identified by HRE staff and ECPD. HRE staff reviewed the incident for actions their office deems fit. 

Monday, January 17

ECPD responded to the Little Building following a report of a student in need of medical attention. ECPD provided aid to the student who sought out additional medical attention. 

Thursday, January 20

ECPD found a damaged window on the Lagrange Street side of the Union Bank Building. There were no leads to determine how the window was damaged. Facilities was made aware and subsequently boarded up the window.

ECPD reported to the Little Building at the request of HRE staff and secured contraband for destruction. The contraband was confiscated by HRE staff from a student. 

Saturday, January 22

ECPD helped two students with filing a police report with the Boston Police Department over an incident that occurred off-campus. The incident is being investigated by the BPD. 

Sunday, January 23

ECPD reported to the Piano Row Residence Hall following a report of a student in need of medical attention. ECPD assisted the student who sought further medical attention.
