Incident Journal: A fight on Boylston street and a motor vehicle crash in Allen’s Alley

Tuesday, March 9

ECPD responded to a reported motor vehicle crash in Allen’s Alley. ECPD met with Facilities Staff and learned a delivery vehicle collided with the fire escape from the Colonial Residence Hall. The operator of the delivery vehicle was identified. There were no injuries and no vehicles towed from the location.

Wednesday, March 10 

A reported fight on Boylston Street outside the Little Building was quelled by ECPD. ECPD remained on the scene until Boston Police arrived and took over the scene.

 Thursday, March 11 

ECPD responded to the Little Building for a reported bypass of security. An Emerson College Student who was later identified accessed the second floor to attend a class without tapping at the security desk, and they were referred to Community Standards & Student Conduct for whatever action their office deems appropriate.

 Friday, March 12

An Emerson College Student accessed the resident hall floors using the ID of another Emerson College Student, prompting ECPD to report to the scene. Both students were later identified and referred to Community Standards & Student Conduct for whatever action their office deems appropriate.

 Saturday, March 13 

ECPD responded to the Little Building for a reported bypass of security. An Emerson College Student who was later identified accessed the resident hall elevators after taping with a denied ID. Housing and Residential Education (HRE) staff were notified and confirmed the student did still reside in the Little Building.

 Saturday, March 13

Three identified Emerson College Students were identified by ECPD for utilizing the fire escape in the alleyway between 2 Boylston Place and 134-136 Boylston Street to access the roof of an adjacent building. The three students were referred to Community Standards & Student Conduct for whatever action their office deems appropriate.
