Monday, Jan. 21
The Office of Housing and Residence Life found drug paraphernalia inside of a Colonial residence hall suite and turned it over to the Emerson College Police Department.
Tuesday, Jan. 22
ECPD and the Boston Fire Department investigated a fire alarm at the Tufte Performance and Production Center. A pipe in the fire pump room froze and caused the alarm. ECPD notified Facilities Management to initiate repairs.
ECPD and BFD responded a second time to the fire pump room in Tufte due to an issue with the sprinkler system. Facilities Management also responded to assist with repairs.
ECPD investigated an alarm sounding from Allen’s Alley. ECPD checked the area and shut off the alarm.
Wednesday, Jan. 23
Security officers at the Ansin Building notified ECPD of a person who walked through the building without tapping. ECPD identified the person as an alumnus who was visiting a friend.
ECPD assisted a person near the Walker Building who was lost and trying to find their sister. ECPD located the sister, and the pair reunited.
Thursday, Jan. 24
ECPD and Facilities Management responded for a third time to the fire pump room in the Tufte building. A potentially broken valve affected the sprinkler system and caused the alarm to go off.
Friday, Jan. 25
OHRL found drug paraphernalia in the 2 Boylston Place residence hall and turned it over to ECPD.

Saturday, Jan. 26
ECPD and BPD searched the Little Building and surrounding area for a construction worker who was reported missing. During the search, BPD received information that the construction worker had returned home and was safe.
Sunday, Jan. 27
A student reported to ECPD the theft of personal property taken from a studio inside of the Paramount Center.
