The Emerson College Police Department provides the Incident Journal to The Beacon every week. Beacon staff edit the Incident Journal for style and clarity but not for content.

Tuesday, March 16

ECPD responded to a reported bypass at the Paramount Theater Security desk. An identified student entered the academic space after taping an ID that was denied. Housing and Residential Education staff were notified and confirmed the student was authorized to access the academic space.

Wednesday, March 17

An Emerson Community member was found injured in the Piano Row Residence Hall. ECPD responded to a request from Housing and Residential Education staff to provide first aid to the identified student.  

Thursday, March 18

Graffiti/tagging was found on the exterior wall of the Walker Building in the vicinity of 25 Boylston Place. The unidentified subject was not located, but Images of the graffiti/tagging were shared with the Boston Regional Intelligence Center in an effort to identify the subject.    

Thursday, March 18

ECPD was contacted by an identified Emerson College Student involved in a non-criminal off-campus roommate dispute. ECPD provided information, resources, and options for that student to utilize in an effort to resolve the issue. The information was also shared with Housing and Residential Education staff.
