FAB delays vote on Skunks Budget Request

The Financial Advisory Board met in a closed executive session on Thursday to discuss a late Annual Budget Request from the Emerson Skunks, the college’s newly affiliated ultimate frisbee team.

The meeting, which was closed to the public as discussions regarding ABRs typically are, did not end in a vote on the request, Executive Treasurer Abigail Semple told The Beacon. Semple declined to elaborate on why FAB did not come to a conclusion in the meeting. Instead, a vote on the ABR will be conducted by email.

The vote will determine if the request will be sent to the Student Government Association’s upcoming joint session meeting on Tuesday, Oct. 8 for approval.
