Tuesday, Nov. 7
The Emerson College Police Department is investigating a theft that occurred inside the Barnes & Noble Emerson College bookstore.
Wednesday, Nov. 8
ECPD, Facilities Management, and the Boston Fire Department responded to a fire alarm in the Walker Building. There was no evidence of a fire, but the cause of the alarm could not be determined. There were no injuries to report.
Thursday, Nov. 9
ECPD and BPD responded to a fire alarm in the Tufte Building. A haze machine used inside the Cutler Majestic Theater caused the fire alarm and triggered a smoke detector.
ECPD investigated a report of a man causing a disturbance inside the Equipment Distribution Center. The man left the area after speaking to ECPD.
Contractors working inside the Little Building accidently set off a fire alarm. BPD responded and investigated the scene. There was no fire, and the fire alarm system was reset.
Friday, Nov. 10
ECPD spoke with a person who was confused and tried to gain entrance to the Colonial Building. The person was escorted from the property without incident.
Saturday, Nov. 11
The Office of Housing and Resident Life turned over drug paraphernalia and marijuana residue to ECPD. OHRL found the material after smelling marijuana in a student’s suite.
Sunday, Nov. 12
Two patrons were trapped in an elevator inside the Paramount Theater. A Facilities Management tradesperson was able to free the patrons and repair the elevator, which was low on hydraulic fluid. Neither patron was injured.
