Dana Gerber
Dana Gerber hails from Rockville, Maryland, and is a Deputy News Editor at The Beacon Editor. She writes and oversees long-form, deep-dive articles spanning all areas of interest on the Emerson Campus, including the renegotiation of the dining workers' union contract, the struggles of many students to fund their film projects, and the circumstances of students remaining on campus following the COVID-19 outbreak. Gerber has also received bylines in Cosmopolitan Magazine, Mic.com, and Boston Magazine. When she is not busy burying herself in a Google doc, Gerber can be found pursuing freelance writing opportunities, rock climbing, or finding the best Boston thrift stores.
